Drake is an energetic dog who likes friendly competition, games and puzzles. He's infamous around camp for causing trouble as a puppy, not because he's rebellious but because he's so rambuncious and playful that trouble seems to find him automatically. He loves to talk, explore, wrestle and ask lots and lots of questions. 

He gets bored very easily and absolutely can't stand to sit still for too long, unless he's pointing. This leads to him constantly pestering adults to take him out of camp, where his wings cause him to feel cramped and cooped up. He prefers to sleep in trees instead of dens.

As a German Shorthaired, he's a natural born hunter, tracker and swimmer, and is not happy unless he can do those things often. Add wings to the equation, and you have a dog that cannot be stopped.

Although he's very friendly and gentle-natured, Drake can be a bit of an airhead and sometimes make tactless comments without thinking. He also doesn't think things through very well, and will often blunder clumsily into errors that could have been easily avoided if he had slowed down a bit.

He has a tendency to get very competitive when he plays any kind of game, although he's not a sore loser when he fails.

Appearance:

Drake has the typical markings of a German Shorthaired, with rich, solid chocolate patches of fur covering his entire head and the base of his neck, dissolving into white and black spots all over the rest of his body, with a white patch on his neck and chest. His tail is longer than normal for his breed, brown like his head, with a white tip. It ends in a fan of brown, white and green feathers, which helps him change direction in air.

His legs long and graceful, perfect for running, leaping and swimming- even perching and taking flight. As a young puppy, he still moved very swiftly and now that he's growing, he's covered in hard, lean muscle.

Drake's eyes are a light, leaf-green unlike the usual amber of his breed. From there it just gets crazier, because out of his back he sports an enormous wingspan. His wings are chocolate and white, with iridescent green wing tips like a duck. These shiny green feathers give him his name. When he's doing normal activities, his wings fold at his back. Drake will groom his wings often to keep his feathers clean.

History:

Drake was born within the Fawnstalker pack to a little of four, although two out of four pups died in infancy. Drake knew his mother was very sad about the pups she lost, but he didn't realize how extreme her grief was until she started spending all her time with Fawnstalker's Seer. These days she sleeps a lot and does nothing except stare blankly from outside her den. Drake fears she's getting sick, so he brings her food every day and helps her tear it up so she can eat it, sitting with her and grooming her.

He wants very badly for his mother to survive, and has a lot invested in it. 

Besides being nervous about that, Drake's life is a happy one. He loves his Pack and would do anything for them. He hasn't decided yet whether he wants to be a Preyfnder or Fighter, and changes his mind daily.
