With a honey-sweet and dainty demeanor, Aselle comes off as very delicate- both in appearance and personality. Her voice matches this completely, and is extremely soft and almost chirpy.

The illusion persist until you see her snatch a bird right out of the sky. Typical of her breed she is quite agile, and not only can run fast but attacks like a laser-guided rifle, with extreme accuracy and confidence. She's quite a proud female and while she's typically very kind, both to those she knows and strangers- she doesn't take slights lightly and has a habit of holding grudges for a very long time, especially if someone questions her capability. She is snobby, although not elitist. She'll make friends with anyone no matter what they look like or where they come from, but she'll always believe she's better than them.

She can be catty in her own way when she feels like she can get away with it, but most of the time her good nature is genuine. She definitely isn't above playing pranks on someone who is slow on the uptake. She's wonderful at training Tenderfoots and spends a lot of her time volunteering at this.

It's one of her ambitions to be a Dam for several litters of pups one day- but she has high standards and would rather mate with a male who resembles her own breed, like another Saluki, Greyhound or Borzoi. Despite stereotypes, she's actually not very romantic about starting a family, and thinks of it as a worthwhile cause or a way to pass on her genetics rather than a flight of fancy.

Appearance:

Covered in mostly short, cream colored fur and patches of light ginger, Aselle is easy on the eyes and graceful. Her ears and tail are longer furred. It's hard to keep her coat well groomed in such a harshe environment, but she spends quite a lot of time at night picking burrs out of her fur, and cleaning it when she should be sleeping. She has light brown eyes with flecks of gold, like tree sap.

Aselle has a mutation, but unlike most Rotstalker dogs it's very subtle. She has no scent whatsoever. This makes her even more a fearsome hunter, because her prey cannot sense her until it's too late.

History:  

Aselle comes from a proud and slightly snobby line of dogs that did their best to preserve their breed traits by only mating with those who were of the same, or similar breeds. While they are inevitably mixed, they look much more like real Salukis than most feral dogs these days. However, Aselle's family is originally from the Fawnstalker Pack. Her mother switched packs for her second litter, the one Aselle was born to. Aselle has always been curious about why this happened, but her mother refused to tell her and took the secret to the grave.

Regardless of her curiosity about the past, Aselle is nonetheless loyal to her current pack, and enjoys the contrast between herself and it's other members, as well as the attention this gets her. Her goal is to populate the Rotstalker with more beautiful, agile dogs like her. In her own way, she wants to take over the Pack.
